An alternative to monochrome – red and black really packs a punch. As you may have guessed I love red, it’s my favourite colour, but I sometimes find it tricky to work into an outfit with other colours. I find the key is to keep it fairly minimal, unless you’re trying to make a statement. I’ve kept the silhouette simple with a basic black top from F+F (about a fiver from Tesco!) and black tights and boots from Office. The red pencil skirt is See by Chloe – an Outnet bargain. It’s great for winter because it’s quite thick but has a bit of stretch, making it comfortable. The necklace is by Mikey. It complements the skirt and adds enough detail to prevent the top half looking too “blocky” with the fairly high cut neckline.
