The wedding of a special friend requires a special outfit and I’d been saving this Peter Pilotto dress for the occasion. Usually out of my budget, it was heavily reduced in a sale on the Outnet so (somehow) I managed to bag it before the website got totally jammed by bargain-hunting fashionistas! At the time of buying it I was expecting the weather to be quite warm by mid May, however the great British weather can never be relied upon. This meant I had to find something at the last minute to wear over the dress. I was quite astonished at how little choice there is both on the high street and online. It seems the fashion buyers were expecting summer by now too! Just as I was about to give up hope it was almost as if fate intervened and I stumbled upon a pop up designer discount shop in town where I found this faux fur coat by Tibi. It kept me warm all day and felt so lovely and soft, and the good thing is I’ll wear it again and again.

Beaded clutch: Accessorize, Shoes: Nine West, Sunglasses: Karl Lagerfeld, Earrings: Debenhams, Silver charm ring: made myself, Silver heart bracelet: ebay, Purple enamel ring: bought in Italy

It seems like the Spring showers are never ending right now and I'm desperate for some warm and sunny weather – my legs have barely seen daylight for the last seven months! So to cheer myself up I bought this rather lovely trench coat. It's one of the pieces from Debenhams' collaboration with Roksanda Ilincic, and with almost three quarters off the original ticket price it was an absolute bargain. The boots I'm wearing were another sale purchase from Nine West, after my old extremely comfortable ones both split across the sole and were deemed beyond repair by the cobbler (sob sob). I'm obsessed with spike jewellery at the moment and this bracelet is from Asos, worn with a silver heart bracelet from ebay. The bag (seen in previous posts) is by Ri2K.
