I love the colours in this Bolongaro Trevor dress and it's a joy to wear – it makes a statement without exposing too much flesh. The colour is described as "chilli" on the tag and it certainly has a fiery quality to it. In terms of style it was a bit of a change for me as I usually don't go for high necklines but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on. To keep the emphasis on the dress I teamed it with a neutral bag (Juno from TKMaxx) and sandals from Dune. The Asos bracelets and chunky ring from SecretSales picked up the colours of the dress.
Some sunshine at last! I grabbed the chance to get out and enjoy the warm weather and to wear some summer clothes. I feel like a sailor girl in these culottes and Breton top, although I’m a long way from the coast! These blue culottes/cropped trousers from Asos are so soft and comfortable and feel great against the skin. The stripe top is from Monsoon but I bought it at a pop sale at a hospital for £6 – brand new with tags. A straw bag from Joules and silver snakeskin effect pumps from Sacha added the finishing touches to this outfit.

Well summer seems to have beaten a retreat so it's back to boots and a jacket. I picked this burnt orange coloured one up in a Marks and Spencer sale. It's a size too big but I don't mind that as it gives it a slouchy androgynous look teamed with these black skinny jeans from Gap. The leopard print clutch (from Dune) gives the outfit a feminine touch, while the black ankle boots (also from Dune) add an edgy element.
