The wedding of a special friend requires a special outfit and I'd been saving this Peter Pilotto dress for the occasion. Usually out of my budget, it was heavily reduced in a sale on the Outnet so (somehow) I managed to bag it before the website got totally jammed by bargain-hunting fashionistas! At the time of buying it I was expecting the weather to be quite warm by mid May, however the great British weather can never be relied upon. This meant I had to find something at the last minute to wear over the dress. I was quite astonished at how little choice there is both on the high street and online. It seems the fashion buyers were expecting summer by now too! Just as I was about to give up hope it was almost as if fate intervened and I stumbled upon a pop up designer discount shop in town where I found this faux fur coat by Tibi. It kept me warm all day and felt so lovely and soft, and the good thing is I'll wear it again and again.
