I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas Day! I spent it at home with family relaxing and building a My Little Pony Castle! Thankfully Isobel didn’t get up until around 7.30, which was a miracle considering how excited she was. In the end I wore my Damart pink cashmere jumper and black skinny jeans for a comfortable outfit with a touch of luxury.
Already my thoughts are now turning to New Year’s Eve outfits. Last year we hosted a little party for Isobel’s friends and their parents who we’ve become good friends with. It was such good fun that we’re doing it again this year. I don’t want to get too dressed up but still want to wear something special. I wore this gold lurex dress and knee boots last New Year’s Eve, and it’s so comfortable I’d happily wear it again this year! That said, I would like something different so I’ll have a browse in the sales. Well, it’d be rude not to 😉
The dress is made of super stretchy gold lurex fabric so it’s incredibly comfortable. As the material is quite thin I would only wear it with tights but I probably wouldn’t wear something with long sleeves and a high neck in summer anyway. It doesn’t really need much jewellery, so I just added a pair of big earrings and my Kenneth Jay Lane lion ring. The gold studded clutch is an old favourite as it’s a great size and holds all of my essentials.
