Sizzlin’ Summer Style – Stylish Monday Link Up

This month’s Stylish Monday theme of Sizzlin’ Summer Style is certainly very appropriate for the weather in the UK; it’s been unusually hot for August, meaning I can wear my holiday clothes even though I’m not going anywhere. Well, certainly not abroad…these photos were taken in my mum’s garden by Isobel, my little blog assistant. These yellow flowers always look spectacular in late Summer.

This year seems to have flown by, especially the last few months. It’s hard to believe that in just a few weeks we’ll be in September and all the new season collections will be in the shops. I’m quite happy for the warm weather to continue a while longer!

Maxi dresses are my holiday wardrobe go-to…just add sandals and a cute bag and you’re done! A pair of statement earrings and stylish sunnies up the glam factor. I’d had my eye on this dress by Twisted Wunder for a couple of months but couldn’t justify spending £55 on a new dress. Then I saw it in the Asos sale so I had to snap it up! I love the bold, colourful star print. With so many colours in the mix I had plenty of options for accessories, but I decided on this fun crossbody bag to continue the star theme. My bracelet and ring are from Yaa Yaa London, one of my favourite jewellery brands.
