The story behind today’s outfit is a bit like a fairy tale. No really, it is. Stick with me on this one. You see I bought the skirt in a sale at Marks and Spencer, and even though I wasn’t really sure about it (you know how it is with online shopping – it’s not love at first sight but you don’t dislike it enough to send it back) I thought if I could just find the right top to go with it, it’d make a nice addition to my wardrobe.
But that was the problem – every top I tried with it looked either wrong or just ok. I don’t like just ok, I want perfect. Who doesn’t? Then on one of my many trawls through Ebay I found a top in the same print! At a starting bid of 99p I thought it was worth a shot. Lucky for me I was the only bidder and for just a few quid with postage added on the skirt had found its perfect partner. Don’t you just love a happy ending?
