Nail art is such a huge trend right now and I could spend hours looking at designs on Instagram and Pinterest. Just over a year ago I took a Nail Technician course as a career back-up plan when we relocated to the North West and I’ve been doing my own gel overlays ever since. I’ve always used Nsi hard gel as the salon where I used to get my nails done used that system and I found it lasted really well. Although taking a course is necessary if you want to make a career in the nail business, the only way to really perfect your technique is to practise, practise and practise!
There are some really useful online sources for trouble-shooting such as Salon Geek and Nail Angel. YouTube tutorials are also helpful and addictive!
