Do you remember when I said in yesterday’s Stylish Monday post that Fabienne Chapot is one of my favourite brands? Well today I’m wearing another fabulous print by the Dutch label. I love all types of animal print, but this top featuring cheetahs in high heels takes it to a whole new level! When I saw it on Depop I had to buy it! I already have the same style of top in a lobster print, which I’ve also worn with these red culottes. A quirky print is a great way to elevate a basic style of top, taking it from ordinary to eye-catching.
I paired it with these red culottes because they highlight the red shoes on the cheetahs. And, if I’m totally honest, I was in a rush and basically replicated the lobster top outfit from last year. If I find a garment that works for me I’ll buy it in multiple colours or prints. It’s good to have a few tried and tested outfits to fall back on in these situations, isn’t it? These culottes have quite a high waist, but the fabric has a little stretch so they’re not too restrictive. D-ring belts always baffle me though – I can never secure them properly! My earrings match the vibrant yellow shade of the cheetahs and I’ve added a red wrap bracelet that I bought at a market in France.
On a different subject, I had a few tech problems on Sunday and couldn’t upload any photos. After a bit of digging I realised I had run out of web hosting disk space…eek! I didn’t panic too much because they’ve always been really quick to solve any problems I’ve encountered. So I opened a ticket very late at night and by the time I got up the next morning it was all sorted! Basically, I hadn’t been allotted enough disk space so I didn’t have to change my plan or pay any more. Stablepoint to the rescue again!
