After a fabulous week by the sea in Brittany I arrived home at the weekend to find Summer had taken its own holiday. Just as we hit the road to drive back from Exeter airport the heavens opened. Oh well, I suppose it was long overdue. I just don’t want Summer to end! I’ll be packing a case and heading off again next week, although only to my mum’s in Cambridgeshire, but it’s forecast to be warmer there than in the North West. I’ll take my beachwear, just in case I get the chance to bask in the sun 😉
Good quality, well-fitting swimwear is a must for feeling confident and looking stylish on the beach or by the pool (or in the garden for that matter!). This Fantasie Ko Phi Phi swimsuit and sarong certainly live up to my high expectations from beachwear. The swimsuit fits perfectly, with adequate bust support thanks to the concealed underwire and tummy control for a sleek contour. It’s available in up to bra size GG and features adjustable straps.
Buying swimwear in your bra size rather than dress size is essential if you’re well endowed. Having the right amount of support improves posture and can make you look slimmer. After years of only wearing bikinis for the beach/pool I’m loving one-pieces lately, they have an old school glamour feel about them. Check out my post on feeling body confident in beachwear for more top tips!
The sarong is made from lovely soft cotton, and feels great against the skin. I find some cheaper sarongs made from manmade material don’t stay put when knotted. They also don’t feel nice to the touch. This one is definitely my favourite, especially as the soft cotton makes it easy to wear different ways. I wore it tied around my waist, as a halterneck dress, and also crossed over with the corners wrapped around the swimsuit staps. You can effectively turn it into a dress in a mater of seconds..perfect for going from beach to bar!
I’ve always been very impressed with beachwear from Simply Beach (you may remember this fabulous jumpsuit from last year). They currently have a sale on so it’s well worth popping over for a browse.

What a gorgeous swim suit. I love how the cover up and swim suit match. I actually prefer tankinis. I have a very long torso so one pieces don’t work for me, I can’t wear a bikini because of surgical scars, so tankinis work for me.
Thanks Amy! I have a long torso too but this swimsuit fits just right – no wedgie!
Absolutely your swimsuit, Emma! And that sarong is gorgeous too.
Stunning photos 🙂

Thanks Suzy!
Beautiful sarong and swimsuit! I really like the bold, tropical colors and print. You look fabulous!
Thank you Jennie!
Emma, these photos are stunning! And what a beautiful swim suit. I love the matching sarong. I have so many scarves/sarongs/wraps in that size and shape and fabric and I never think to wear them this way…I always just wear them as a scarf. Brilliant and so gorgeous!

So glam! Love your travel photo shoot with scenery!
I usually wear a stained tee shirt dress over my bathing suit, so… ha 🙂

Thanks Bettye! I’m lucky to remain stain-free when my daughter’s around brandishing chocolate ice cream! That’s why I hardly ever wear white!
Love this suit and sarong. I can’t buy suits that are sold by bra size…they don’t come small enough. LOL I’m a tankini girl for convenience and they fit me well. You look great and yes, here’s to more sunny days and opportunities to wear swimwear.
Thanks Lisa! I never think to buy a tankini – I might just get one for my next holiday!
Wow Emma you look great! Perfect for these hot days.:)
Thanks Tina!
That outfit looks so cute on you. Have you been getting as much rain this summer in the UK as we have. Usually we have pretty warm sunny summers (some rain), but this year has been ridiculous.
Thanks Julie! We’ve had hardly any rain until the last week – we’re due to have a hose pipe ban in our area soon!
I love how your swimsuit and coverup are coordinated—such a chic look!

Thanks Cheryl!
first, Emma, what cool pictures! Love the one with the “window” that is shaped to see you standing in your outfit. Nice shot! Love the colors in this suit and the sarong is beautiful on you. I went to check out the site and they have such pretty suits. You look great! I fluctuate to bikini or one piece depending on my mood. I do like a kind of vintage vibe with the one piece style i have as well.
Have a great week!

These photos are so gorg of you!! The scenery and the dress work well together! I love that bracelet, too, it looks similar to a wrap bracelet I just got.
