Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The weather was glorious here so I was out in the garden soaking up some rays. One of the things I love about summer is wearing fruit prints, so this month’s Stylish Monday theme of Feeling Fresh and Fruity left me spoilt for choice! One of my favourite brands – Fabienne Chapot – does fruit prints so well. I loved the peach print from a few years ago so much that I bought the dress and the skirt…oh, and the bag too! This striped cherry print dress is the latest addition to my Fabienne Chapot collection, which I found on eBay.
Shirt dresses are so comfortable and easy to wear. Plus, they are cool and appropriate for just about any situation. You can dress them up with heels or style them casually with trainers, they’re so versatile. I wore this to work one day, followed by my lemon print shirt dress the next. I took my denim jacket just in case it got chilly, but I didn’t need it.
Initially, I was going to wear my green wedge sandals with this dress but I couldn’t find them. That’s not surprising really given how many pairs of shoes I have! But I did find these orangey red wedges which pick out the colour of the cherries in the print. I chose a bag to match and added my fun cherry beaded earrings, red flower ring and white chunky bracelet to finish off the look.

“I love the retro feel of this fruit print tiered shirt-dress. I was looking for a simple tiered dress on Amazon, when this one caught my eye and I couldn’t resist its charm! I’ve styled it with my red gingham print sandals that have been on repeat this summer. The fruit print and gingham combo makes me happy!”
“Nothing says summer more than fruity prints and bold fun colors especially after long cold Illinois winters! I can’t resist my kitschy summer fun prints!”
“Fruity Floral Flounce!!! That’s what I am calling this outfit. Between the florals and paisley design of my ruffled skirt and those bright orange sandals I got the citrus fruity vibes and all the Summery florals going!”
“This month’s collaboration got me digging into my wardrobe for something fresh and delish to style up. Found this fun lime maxi decorated with cherries- how sweet! Lime green is already a favourite with me- especially for summer- and with the added fun red-cherry print, well that’s enough to get me smiling😊 Fresh, quench-thirsting look for this hot Montreal summer- I’m ready!”
“I am feeling like a basket of fruit or a box full of fruit sweets, lol, in this outfit! Oranges, strawberries and raspberries! Love that color combination! I have ombre nails at the moment with red and orange. You can take a look at last Tuesday’s post for that!”
“Love fruit prints but you don’t want to look like a piece of fruit? Here’s how to incorporate the fun fruit print trend into a neutral outfit.”
“I bought this bright orange blazer a few months ago but had trouble styling it until I found this adorable fruity printed swimsuit. And I figured why not style a blazer over my swimsuit. It’s not like I follow fashion rules anyway!”
“In interior Alaska, summer temperatures remain pleasant in the drought season except when it rains. The record is 100F in Ft. Yukon, but we already think 85F is too hot. In the monsoon season, it feels unpleasant due to the high humidity and temperatures in the 50F or so. Thus, in early summer, it’s shorts and tank tops with flip flops, in late summer, it’s rain gear and layering. Since the Sun is in the sky 24/7, sun protective clothes are my go-to.”
“Feeling fruity in my Target dress with lemon and limes and oranges on it.”
“We are definitely out and about these days. My bright colors mirror my optimism for the sunny summer days ahead.”
“I love the vibrant pattern and color of this bold wrap skirt; it feels so optimistic, fresh, and cheerful. Bold prints can be a bit intimidating to style, so I say keep it simple, with neutral pieces; like this black ruffle top, raffia bag, and hat. From there, allow the print piece, to be the star of the show!”

Aw, your kitty looks just like mine – I love tuxedo cats. 🙂
I adore this wonderful yellow dress on you, Emma! It’s just gorgeous, a perfect jammy dress. Your styling is perfect!
Thanks so much for the link-party!
You all did so well with this fruity theme! I don’t think I own a single thing with fruit on it, so I would have just had to find some fruity colours! Fun though!

I absolutely love your dress! Cherry prints are my favorite. Cute kitty and I love the fire pokers in the foreground too.
I totally love fruity fashions, even though I just have lemon prints, I always love the others. Your dress is up my alley too, love the colors here and the shirtdress style, cherries give it a vintage vibe. Love the espadrilles too!
I linked up my fruity style.

Summer definitely makes me feel fresh and fruity. As I mentioned on my blog post as well (come check it out) your fruit-printed shirtdress and Andy’s fruit-printed shirtdress were my favorite looks of this month. I love that you got all shades of tangerine and orange going, in this outfit. This designer really does fruit print so well, I checked out the other 2 posts! =)
Beautiful summer outfits. I love your dress, Emma, and the accessories you have styled it with! xxx
You are a ray of sunshine! This is the cutest! Absolutely love the print! And I love all the fun, bold colors of this outfit!
