We’ve been having some lovely sunny weather lately, which has made me want to break out the soft pastel colours and floral prints. Sitting in the garden drinking rosé wine also seems very appealing 😉 So pairing this pretty floral print pencil skirt and novelty bag together sums up my mood quite well!
I bought the skirt last year but didn’t get around to wearing it…the deep split at the back and front makes it tricky to wear for work. Maybe I could get it altered slightly to make it more wearable and spare my blushes 😉 I don’t wear lots of pink, but sometimes the mood just takes me. And so I piled it on with a blush short sleeved jumper, really old mules (and I mean more than a decade old!) and a fun glittery bag.
I’m a huge fan of Skinny Dip’s quirky designs and couldn’t resist buying this one from TKMaxx (it’s impossible to leave there empty-handed). I have quite a few now, including the rainbow clutch I featured in last month’s Style Not Age post. A novelty bag makes a great conversation starter and adds a really fun touch to any outfit. They are my latest obsession (along with jumpsuits) and I’m building up a nice little collection 🙂
