Leopard Print and Faux Leather + link up

Leopard Print and Faux Leather

Only a week to Christmas now! Have you done all of your shopping yet? I still have a few things left to buy, but I’m keeping things relatively simple this year. I may treat myself to something in the sales; going by the emails in my inbox, some have already started, which is great if you’re looking for a party outfit.

I bought this leopard print blouse and faux leather jeans around this time last year. In fact, I wore them together on Boxing Day. On that occasion I paired them with leopard print court shoes, but it’s cold right now so I chose boots instead. I don’t wear heels much on a day-to-day basis lately, but these boots are a wide fit so they are quite comfortable (especially with two pairs of socks!).

Not content with just a double helping of animal print, I went for a hat-trick. This coat has a different type of leopard print to the boots and blouse, but because they’re the same colour palette they don’t clash. As soon as saw it marked down to half price on my trip to Manchester I couldn’t resisit it! I know I have too many coats already, but I usually pass one or two on to my mum when she comes to stay at Christmas. That’s my excuse anyway 😉

While I was in Manchester I also picked up these fabulous earrings by Materia Rica in Oklahoma. I was instantly drawn to them, and although there were so many other things to tempt me I had to pick these. The wooden earrings say “hand” and “made” on them. I adore anything quirky and unusual like this.

My favourite combination is faux leather and leopard print though – it definitely has a rock chick vibe which I love!

Faux leather trousers and leggings are everywhere at the moment. I have three pairs of coated/faux leather skinny jeans but these are by far my favourite. They’re really comfortable and fit much better than the others. (I wore them to travel in when I went to Turkey). Faux leather jeans give you so many outfit options, from casual to dressed up with heels. My favourite combination is faux leather and leopard print though – it definitely has a rock chick vibe which I love!

Do you love faux leather leggings and jeans too? I hope you can stop by tomorrow for the last Match Made in Seven post of the year!

The handmade earrings are just fabulous! I make and wear my own jewelry, and so am always interested in others’ homemade creations. I love how your fingernail polish matches the color on your earrings.
