Hello friends, how’s your week going? I’ve had a busy few days; Friday I was working in Birmingham, then on Saturday I took my mum back to her house in Cambridgeshire to pack up more stuff. We came back to Cheshire on Sunday, and I worked in Salford on Monday. I was exhausted by the time I got home!
Today was the first opportunity to take photos but the weather has been dreadful. It was raining most of the day and blowing a hoolie. But not even Storm Kathleen was going to stop me snapping some pics, and thanks to a small break in the rain and this mega faux fur hat it was mission accomplished! The hat picks out the orange in the print of the blouse, as does the bag. The blouse (another Vinted bargain) does the work of pattern clashing with leopard print, so I added to it with these wide leg trousers.
The blouse is a size 10 and I’d say it runs small as it’s snug on the shoulders and arms. I’d had my eye on another identical one on Vinted but I hesitated and it sold. Lesson learned, so when this one came up I bought it straight away. I’m crushing on big collars at the moment (this outfit from last month reignited it!). I bought the hat on sale and added a reversible collar to my basket at the same time, which I’m looking forward to styling soon.

Thank you for the feature, Emma. I like the mix of strong prints and bold colours. The mix of prints is a tricky thing to do but you did it so well. Your accessory are on point. Anna
I love the mix of these patterns! The orange bag and hat are wonderful ways to bring out that color in the print. Thanks for the link up!

Magnificent hat! Love the pattern mixing. You have such a bold style x
It works perfectly! I don’t think I ever mixed leopard with another print. But I bought a leopard blouse last week and want to try it with a print now. Great trousers!
Wow, Emma, that hat – love it and the leopard print!
Such a fun trip!!

Wow Emma, this is a popping print mix! You do this colorful style of dressing so well. I love that you went all out with the leopard trousers, with this blouse, and the orange accessories are so good! Thanks for sharing and the link up. Hope you have a great week!
Such a super mix up Emma. Love the hat too x Jacqui
I had to read this a couple of times to find out that the pants didn’t come with the top! They match so beautifully! I love that hat, too! Thanks for the link up, Emma! I invite you to link up with the Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!

Thank you so much for the feature, Emma! Hoping the weather takes a turn for the better for you, but in the meantime, I need to hop up to my attic to look for my red furry hat—it’s a lot like yours, but from the ’90s, and now I want to wear it again!

I love these patterns together, Emma. Orange is strongly becoming my favourite colour this year. Thanks so much for hosting.
