Latest in Beauty: British Beauty Blogger Dream Box II

The Dream Box II is the second collaboration between Latest in Beauty and British Beauty Blogger aka Jane Cunningham. At £21.95 (including postage) for 18 items valued at £129, the Dream Box II is amazing value for money. When I first opened the box I couldn’t believe how much had been crammed in – it was all packed so perfectly, cleverly utilising every bit of space in the box. Usually with beauty boxes there are a few items that don’t really float my boat, but I know I will use everything in this one.

All of these products are new to me except the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick

I will be reviewing some of the products in future posts when I’ve had the opportunity to try them out properly, but I couldn’t resist a cheeky swatch of the lipstick! There were two shades of the Lola lipstick available – Sunset Red and Strawberry Fields. I received Sunset Red, and to be honest I would have preferred Strawberry Fields as I don’t tend to wear red lipstick very often, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s more orange than red, as you can hopefully see in the photos.

All of these products are new to me except the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Lip Protectant Stick, which I’ve been using for about a year now. This will be my third or fourth, and I find it so useful at this time of year. I carry one with me in my makeup bag all the time, because as well as using it as a lip protectant, I also use it on cuts and burns. You can see my previous review here. The Eight Hour Lip Protectant Sticks retail at £20, which really highlights what a bargain this box is!
