Has watching Strictly Come Dancing got you in the mood for busting some moves at the office Christmas party? Isobel’s loving it and joins in every week (usually blocking the TV screen!) trying to copy the steps. She’s been going to street dance classes for almost a year now which has given her more confidence, as well as being great exercise. When Dance Gear offered me an item from their website to review I knew Isobel would be delighted to choose something.
The best thing about Dance Gear is the wide range of made to order dancewear, from which we chose this catsuit. There’s plenty of fabrics, patterns and finishes to choose from for both the main area and the section on the sides and back. Isobel opted for a combination of metallic purple and a print called lightshow (there’s also tiger and leopard print for all you animal print lovers!).
Our order arrived while I was at work but I got a message from my husband to say that she’d ripped open the parcel and 30 seconds later appeared wearing the catsuit! When I got home she was actually wearing it back to front – it took some effort to convince her that it really shouldn’t be that low cut at the front! After putting it on the right way round she kept it on for the rest of the day, which happened to be a Saturday so just in time for Strictly!
I’m really impressed with the quality and the finish. It has wide stirrups on the feet for comfort and the fabric is soft but feels very durable. We sized up a year because kids grow so fast at this age. There’s enough growing room in it to ensure Isobel will get a lot of wear from it. She absolutely loves her new Dance Gear made to order catsuit – being able to choose the materials makes wearing it all the more enjoyable.
Dance Gear is run by a dancing family and staffed by people who’ve been involved in dance either professionally or as amateurs and are passionate about dance. They stock a huge selection of dancewear for both children and adults, including men and boys. They cater for different styles of dance – ballet, Latin, ballroom and tap as well as gymnastics. The prices are very reasonable too – this catsuit retails at £34.95, although it’s currently on offer for £31.45*. I think that’s fantastic value for a made to order garment.
Disclaimer: I was gifted the catsuit in exchange for a review, all opinions are my own and completely honest. *Price correct at time of writing.
What a beautiful little girl! Have a great weekend all!
Thank you Nancy, you too! xxx
Soo cute ❤️
She is very cute! My daughter was a professional dancer for 10 years (6 to 16 years old). I know all about how girls get excited about new costumes.
