I bought this Asos orange bug jumper last winter but this is only the second time I’ve worn it. I love the raised insect embellishments, I think they’re really cute! I’ve acquired quite a collection of motif jumpers over the last 12 months or so…mostly from Asos as there’s always such a great selection. Also, eBay is a good place to look for preloved jumpers by brands like Joules and Boden if you love animal motifs.
There’s not much give in the jumper and it is a little snug across the shoulders. But the next size up would have been too baggy on the waist. It’s a problem I often have with non-stretchy jumpers.
It would be fun to pair this vibrant orange shade with an equally bright pair of trousers in a contrasting colour. But on this occasion I chose grey skinny jeans for a casual look. The lighter shade of denim makes the berry-coloured suede boots stand out more than they would have with blue or black jeans. I kept my jewellery very simple with just a handmade beaded bracelet.
