Matching yellow jackets, glitter trousers and biker boots

My little girl is not so little now, and just like her mama, is showing a keen interest in fashion! She loves us to wear matching outfits…and to be honest, I do too! This isn’t the first time she’s appeared on the blog – we’ve twinned in gingham tunics and black biker jackets and motif sweaters before. I got her some fabulous clothes and boots for Christmas, including a faux fur leopard print coat which will feature in another post soon.

But today we wanted to wear our (almost) matching yellow jackets, glitter trousers and biker boots. I say almost because my jacket is more of a mustard colour, whereas Isobel’s is a brighter yellow. They’re both faux shearling and lovely and snuggly. We had to size up to a 11-12 for Isobel because the 9-10 was too tight across the back…she’s built like me with broad shoulders.

I teamed my jacket with my Mango skinny glitter jeans, but Isobel doesn’t like jeans so she’s wearing velvet glitter leggings instead. Her bag was actually mine, but as she points out, sharing is caring! I really needed a hat to tame my hair in the strong wind, but Isobel chose her cat ear headband. She’s not a fan of hats at the moment, but I suspect that’ll change as she gets older. I’ll probably lose a few of mine in the years to come!

I’m keeping today’s post short and sweet because it’s been a very busy week and next week will be just as busy. I hope you can pop back for Tuesday’s link up post 🙂
