Parisians are renowned the world over for their impeccable style, and with good reason too. If you’ve ever been to the French capital, chances are you’ve indulged in a spot of people-watching from a little cafe. Aside from all the wonderful tourist attractions, this is my favourite thing to do in Paris. When I see someone whose style I particularly admire the one thing I want to know is where they shop. As an outsider it can be difficult to see past the big global brands; even in the style capital of the world, the ubiquitous Zara, Mango and H&M can be found dotted all over the city.
If like me, you love to veer off the beaten style track every so often and seek out the unusual, I have a little secret to share with you 😉 Although nothing would be better than a trip to Paris, I’ve discovered how to shop like a Parisian from the comfort of your own home.
Paris.Shopping brings together the best of Parisian boutiques all under one (virtual) roof. The website says: “These shops are paradise for lovers of decor, fashion, trend…We understand why Parisians keep these secret addresses and exchange them between friends!” Well we all like to discover shopping secrets, right? BTW, this isn’t a sponsored post, I just love to share my best finds with you!
Paris.Shopping was founded in November 2017 with the financial backing of Galeries Lafayette. (If you haven’t been to Galeries Lafayette in Paris it is definitely worth a visit just for a browse and a photo on the roof.) Featuring 100 Parisian brands, the website showcases unusual and stylish clothing, jewellery, homeware and gifts. Speaking of which…I know it might be a little early, but it’s only 13 weeks to Christmas! Not that I’m wishing the year away, but it does tend to creep up on us doesn’t it? If you like to start your festive shopping early you’re guaranteed to find some fabulous gifts here.

I absolutely love these zebra and mask print reversible jackets…two for the price of one! These would be great for travelling when suitcase space is limited. There are other versions available too, but these are my favourites.

I’m just about to pop over for a shop! I’ve never been to Paris! It’s on my to do list though,
I wish I could go to Paris. Although rumor has it, it has changed a lot and is not the Paris most people remember anymore. I don’t know if the rumors are true. Thanks for the link up.
I adore Paris, but haven’t been there for years. I think I need to re-visit and partake in some shopping! Quickly followed by a visit to Au Pied de Cochon – a fabulous restaurant we visited once. I dream of going back. Happy Sunday. Jacqui Mummabstylish
Thanks for sharing, Emma. What a great resource!! I will definitely check it out. And you are SO right: the holidays will be upon us before we blink so it’s not too early to get shopping!!
xx Darlene
Paris is one of my absolute favourite cities! And love Parisian style pretty much anything!! xx
Those reversible jackets are fabulous, Emma! That pigeon sweatshirt is so cute too! I visited Paris way back in 2001. I would love to go back again one day and visit more of Europe and the UK. If only it wasn’t so far away!! XXX
