As it’s nearing the end of the month it’s time for the Jumpsuit Joy Style Not Age May challenge! This month it was Anna’s turn to choose and I was definitely not short on options for this theme. You probably know by now that I’m slightly obsessed with jumpsuits 😉 As it happened, I’d just ordered another one from Cocosa, probably my dressiest one yet.
This Isabel by Rozarancio jumpsuit is a great alternative to an LBD. I’d never heard of the brand before so I was keeping everything crossed that it would fit, and thankfully it’s just right. Well, the legs are a bit too long, but I can have them taken up quite easily. I didn’t have time to get them altered before the photos so I had to find some high wedge shoes (not a problem for a serious shoe addict like me!) I love the elongating effect of the wide leg style, but it was the long, flared sleeves that really sold it to me, I love how they swish!
I thought the big expanse of black needed some colour to break it up so I dug out some old belts. After trying on several I eventually decided on this really old wide faux leather red belt. I added more red accents with a faux fur bag and some new earrings from Zara. The thing I love about jumpsuits is how easy it is to change the look with accessories. Although I opted for red accessories this time, metallics or leopard print would also look great.

These Biba leopard print wedge sandals are some of the highest I own…and you still can’t see them under the jumpsuit! But even when I get the legs taken up I’ll probably still wear these or some similar – I think of leopard print as a neutral. Red shoes would be too matchy for my taste.
Isabel by Rozarancio jumpsuit (from Cocosa) | V by Very red faux fur bag (similar) | Biba wedge sandals (from eBay, similar) | Zara earrings | Becky’s Boutique rose gold bee necklace
Anna has layered a top underneath her patterned jumpsuit…a great idea…and her shoes are fabulous!
I’m loving Hilda’s wide leg striped jumpsuit with the asymmetric neckline. Very glamorous!
Jacqui has chosen a gorgeous tropical print jumpsuit with cropped legs…perfect for this sultry weather we’ve been having!

Each of you look gorgeous in your jumpsuits! I really like the dramatic sleeves and how you accessorized with pops of bright red. The leopard wedges were a brilliant choice, as well. I am recently finding myself in search of fun jumpsuits for summer. You ladies are giving me all kinds of inspiration!
Emma I totally love this glamorous look on you! Your hidden surprise of those leopard print shoes adds a fabulous punch too. And you’re so clever to choose alll of the different textures of your accessories – it just makes the styling more interesting. All in all, a winning outfit!

I can see why you like jumpsuits ! They look fantastic on you. How do you do it? Having had children and no tummy. You look so incredibly sexy in this black number. And elegant at the same time. Great purchase. Love that cute red bag too.

(PS reading a newer post: I have switched summer and winter shoes last weekend and we have had gorgeous weather for a long time, just like you have. Finding the right shoes when they are all spread over several closets… it is a challenge and not a nice one.)
