For October’s Style Not Age theme were showcasing autumn shades. Hilda chose the prompt, a nice simple one. I’m currently in Madeira where it’s always spring-like. Well actually, it’s very rainy at the moment. We had a decent day yesterday at the lido but the rest of the week looks very unsettled. I think it’s going to be a week of museums and shopping! It’s Pete’s birthday today but we’re going out for a meal tomorrow evening as the restaurant we want to go to is closed on Mondays.
It was difficult to know what to pack because it’s breezy and showery, but still warm. I jettisoned a few dresses at the last minute in favour of jumpsuits. This one is an old one that I bought in a charity shop for £6. I’ve taken it on many holidays and I never tire of it. Autumn shades of rich orange and neutrals work in a warm climate as well as a cool one. Leopard print and metallics are my favourite way to wear neutrals as I’m allergic to plain ‘ol beige!

Such a lovely mix of warm autumn tones — the nutmeg jumpsuit is a standout! The leopard print cap adds just the right touch of edge, and the metallic sandals pull it all together perfectly. Love how you’ve balanced cozy seasonal shades with a travel-ready vibe.
