It’s been a while since I wore my favourite suit. Well, actually, this was before Christmas. I’m almost at the end of the recovery period and will be able to wear trainers again this time next week. I’ve been counting the days! Having to wear the ugly sandal has been quite limiting when it comes to outfits – wide leg trousers to cover it as much as possible and a chunky trainer to balance the height difference is necessary.
During my confinement, I’ve bought a couple more suits in the sales and can’t wait to wear them. This Bianca flower power suit from The Hippie Shake will always be my favourite though, I just adore the print and the fit. I made some earrings with polymer clay to match it but I couldn’t find them on this particular day. Luckily I have these acrylic ones that compliment the suit and frilly blouse. I also have a cute acrylic bag that matches the flowers on the suit (seen here). It’s fun but not bery practical! Whenever I buy a suit I think of lots of different ways to wear them as separates, but when it comes to this one I feel compelled to go the whole hog, including waistcoat. That’s why I tend to wear it only in winter – I’d get too hot any other time!

I love this print! It reminds me so much of what I used to wear in high school (yes, I’m that old)! You look amazing in these colors! I hope you’re soon in your trainers. Foot surgery is no fun at all! Thanks so much for the feature as well as this week’s link up!

Thanks so much Cheryl! You’re welcome ๐
Fantastic colours and print! I’m glad for you that your recovery time is almost over!
Thank you ๐
This is such a fun suit! And I love that’s a ‘power suit’ at the same time. What kind of fabric is it? It kind of looks like polyester. If so, is it sweaty? And how do you cope with that?
Thanks Nicole! I think it is synthetic fabric but it’s really comfortable and not at all sweaty ๐
This pant suit is so sassy. I can see why you love it.
Thanks very much Olivia!
