Wowsers, it’s so windy! Storm Jocelyn is certainly making her presence felt! I’m a bit reluctant to peep outside to see what’s happened to the bins and my bird feeders. I had the foresight to get these photos done at the weekend before the previous storm blew through. We actually got off quite lightly with that one, but we might not be so lucky this time.
We’ve gone from blue sky and freezing cold to rain and gale force winds. I can’t wait for spring, I’m so done with winter now. There’s quite an autumnal feel to this outfit with the mustard knitted vest and green cords. I saw a vest exactly like this one on of my favourite Instagrammers, Duchess of Thrift. Out of curiosity I has a look on Vinted and found one exactly like it! I’ve got a few knitted tank tops but this is the only one with shoulder frills, which I love. I’m sure I’ll get lots of wear from it; I think mustard is a really versatile colour (I love it paired with cobalt blue).
These cords are a few years old now but I haven’t worn them for ages. The mushroom print top is a newer addition to my wardrobe (I’ve worn it previously with a green suit and a burgundy velvet blazer). I grabbed the hat at the last minute to stop my hair blowing about in the wind! It’s not the exact same shade of mustard as the vest but I quite like that. If I was going to be doing a lot of walking I’d swap the boots for trainers and choose a bigger bag, but this is still a very comfortable outfit.

I had planned to cycle a bit today because the temps were really mild. And I’m so tired of sitting inside. But boy oh boy what a wind. I’m tired of this season too. That’s a very pretty vest, such a warm colour. Vinted is great isn’t it!
Your vest is darling! Love the color! Thank you for the linkup!

Love your cheerful outfit for a winter’s day! The knitted vest is so cute and adds so much character. When we have a big storm coming through with high winds, it always makes me nervous that the power will go out! Thanks for the link up and enjoy the rest of our week!
I hope your weather clears up. We are actually about 60 degrees (fahrenheit) warmer than we were at this time last week! It’s been such an odd winter. Those trousers are amazing…love the cuffs, too! I love how you put together fun and colorful outfits, Emma! They must brighten the days of everyone who sees you!
