With the weather turning gradually cooler, I’m wearing jeans more. As an alternative to blue denim, I’d been looking for some leopard print jeans for a while. When these were included in Izabel’s affiliate selection, I knew they’d be a great addition to my autumn wardrobe. The fabric has a good weight to it and plenty of stretch, so they’re very comfortable. I ordered my usual size 10 but they came up really big so I returned them for a size 8. Even these are generously cut, so I would definitely advise sizing down.
The brown jacket is also from Izabel. Well, it’s more of a shacket really; a cross between a jacket and a shirt. The soft faux suede material has a very fluid feel to it, so it would be perfectly fine to wear as a shirt, maybe with a vest underneath. I also sized down with this for a more slimline fit, mainly so I have the option of wearing it as a shirt. A looser, more boxy fit would have been too baggy.
I’ve teamed the leopard print jeans and brown jacket with burgundy to create an autumnal colour palette. Burgundy, maroon and deep red are all trending this season, as is brown. They are more muted shades than I usually wear, but they are my version of neutrals and can be paired with brighters colours for more impact. Leopard print goes with everything doesn’t it?
