After going through a major orange phase a couple of years ago, I didn’t think I needed any more in my wardrobe. Until, that is, I saw this orange pleated cape dress on Vinted. With its flouncy flowing style, how could I resist? It did mean I had to leave my Zara one shoulder dress that I absolutely love out of my suitcase, but one orange maxi is probably enough! A dress like this doesn’t need much in the way of accessories, just gold jewellery and a bag.
I always take this crossbody bag on holiday because it goes with almost everything. I bought a white crochet bag on Vinted thinking it would be a great option for holidays, but it’s surprisingly heavy so I ended up leaving it at home. Despite my good intentions, I never seem to pack light, so I had to limit myself to three small bags plus a beach bag. Did I wear everything I packed? Erm, no! As usual I had a few outfits spare. Isobel wore my navy and white Izabel dress twice though – sharing is caring as they say!
We had some fun shooting these photos, with a couple of security guards joining in the fun, as you’ll see further down. With my bright orange dress and their high vis vests, I think you could probably see us from space!
