It’s officially Spring (in meteorological terms anyway) and right on cue the sun came out! Since taking these photos we’ve had several days of glorious blue sky, it makes such a difference. Feeling the joys of the new season, I dressed in spring greens and teal. I’ve mixed several shades of green, so it looks deliberate, rather than mismatched and haphazard.
The starting point for the outfit was my new bag* from Ollie & Nic. I recently joined the brand ambassador programme and chose this gorgeous crossbody bag in apple green. It’s a lovely soft faux leather, with both a classic matching strap and the colourful webbing strap I’m wearing here. There are also more strap designs available separately for even more versatility. The size is perfect for me – it holds all my essentials with space to spare. Plus, the pocket on the front is very useful for easy access to my phone. Ollie & Nic kindly sent me a matching flower bag charm and a coin purse, which will be really useful on holiday.
For the rest of the outfit, I started with a base layer of a check print mesh top, then added a soft chunky cardigan over it, both in yellow-toned greens. In contrast, the coat is more of a true green. The teal cord trousers add depth to the various shades of green, sitting in between blue and green. For the finishing touches, I chose my green Yaa Yaa London ring, a peacock brooch and silver Adidas trainers with green stripes.
This crossbody bag is available in several other colours, including fuchsia and duck egg blue, both gorgeous shades for spring. And there are lots of other fabulous designs too…plus you can get 15% off with the code EMMAP15!
