Welcome to the Weekend Traffic Jam link up #3 with me, Gail and Marsha! I hope you’ve had a good week so far. The summer has finally returned for us! It may not last long though, so I’m trying to enjoy it before the rain returns. And I’m not the only one…Pebbles the tortoise has been basking in the sun. I have to watch him very closely because he tries to eat stones and snail shells – he even ate a bee once!
The marathon project of clearing out my mum’s house ahead of her moving has begun. I’m having to go through all my stuff, accumulated over the years. I brought some of my vinyl back with me as I won a record player earlier this year. It’s funny how kids have no idea how records and cassettes work – they only know YouTube and Spotify. Isobel was rather bemused by them and spread them all out on the floor for a photo. She was definitely impressed with the Iron Maiden albums (not so much with The Chicken Song by Spitting Image!) Apparently vinyl and cassettes are making a comeback. I have loads more at my mum’s that I’ll bring back home with me next time.
Most clicked – Alison of Midlife and Beyond
My favourite – Iris of La Moumous

Oh, Emma! Your vinyl collection is amazing! My son once told me he knew I was the person who introduced him to the Beatles, but was I also the one who put Whitesnake in front of him! I, personally, liked them.
Emma, thanks so much for hosting. My entry number is 2.
I had to laugh when I saw all those albums…It looked like you raided my album stash when I was 17 years old!! LOL!
Thanks again for hosting this wonderful party every week! I know how much time goes into doing so and I want you to know that it I truly appreciate it!! I hope you have a great week!
Hugs,
Deb
