I should probably stop buying these oversized trouser suits from Monki now…but they’re so comfortable AND amazing value for money in the sale. This blazer and trousers are still available on sale for a grand total of £26 for both! It was too good a bargain to resist. It was trial and error with these suits at first because the jackets are REALLY oversized, For reference, I’m a 10/12 in a jacket usually but this is an XS.
I quickly grabbed this outfit when packing to go to mum’s because I want to do a few more sets of photos there before she sells the house. All being well she will be moving in the autumn. I wore this blue oversized trouser suit when we went to see Barbie at the cinema. If I’d planned things better I’d have packed a pink outfit! There were surprisingly few people dressed in pink so I didn’t feel like I’d made a fashion faux pas. The top is a pale pistachio shade of green, but it appears to have a pinkish tone on the photos. I love the sheer puff sleeves which are soft to the skin, unlike some of my other tops in this style.
My trusty Fenella Smith bag picks out the green in the suit’s print, as does my Yaa Yaa London ring. Keeping the entire outfit to blue, green and gold creates a fuss-free formula that I can throw on in a rush. It’s comfortable but makes a colourful statement…which is exactly what I want from my clothes. However, I promise I’ll switch things up a bit for the next few weeks…I wouldn’t want to get stuck in a style rut!

Emma thank you so much for featuring me! What a lovely surprise 😀
Yet again you’ve knocked it out the park with the Monki trouser suit… I’d be buying them all too if I had the cash/space in my wardrobe! They’re the masters of pattern, aren’t they… like they make them just for you, lol.
I loved Barbie, and it didn’t even occur to me to wear pink. Think I missed a trick there!!
Thank you for hosting, have a lovely week/end

You look great in the cool summer blues and greens of this fun floral print suit! Love your accessories, too. Also, thanks so much for including my photo in last week’s favorites. I hope everything goes smoothly with your mom’s move. Enjoy your week and thanks for hosting the link up party!
It’s a perfect suit for lots of outings. Not many wearing pink to Barbie when I went too. I did wear it as did my daughters xx thanks for hosting Emma xx
That suit is gorgeous, especially with that green bag!
That’s funny that so few people were wearing pink to see Barbie—I’ve seen it twice in the theater already(!!) and nearly everyone was wearing pink both times, including the men! Either way, love the matching set!
