On warm summer days when I’m struggling to find something to wear (yes it still happens even with a wardrobe that’s bursting at the seams!) I often pull out these Mary Portas blue trousers. They feel lovely and silky and are so comfortable to wear.
Extremely versatile, they are smart enough for work or could be worn more casual with pumps or flat sandals. I opted for heels to create a look that could easily take you from daytime to an evening out.
I’ve previously worn these Mary Portas blue trousers with an oatmeal jumper and heels for work. I’ve also teamed them with a breton stripe top and flat shoes for a casual look. However, bright blue and blush pink is a new colour combination for me…I’m rather pleased with the end result!
They’re also great for taking on holiday as they’re really light, although they do crease quite easily. Elasticated waistbands might not be to everyone’s taste, but comfort is everything! Oh, and the trousers have pockets too 🙂
