This week’s outfit is quite a contrast to last week’s Upcycled Adidas dress! From festival finery to smart casual for the office, my wardrobe is a real mixed bag. I wore this navy blazer and jeans for work at the weekend. It’s an easy outfit formula that I can throw on in minutes. The dark denim wide leg style looks more polished than lighter washed jeans, making them office appropriate. The contrast of dark blue and bright red is a classic colour combination. The shirt by Scotch & Soda was an absolute bargain at £14 a few years ago. Together with the Pom Amsterdam blazer, it’s a double Dutch combination!
The link up is a couple of days late this week because my attention has been focused on Teddy, one of my cats, who has been poorly. He went off his food and became lethargic, then had an upset tummy. We’ve had three trips to the vet, including a whole day of monitoring, IV fluids, scans, x-rays etc. Nothing really showed up, apart from an inflamed gut, so it’s probably a bad bout of gastroenteritis. I’m very glad I took my time to get a decent pet insurance policy because the total bill is nudging £2k! He’s much perkier now, so hopefully he will be back to normal soon. The bald patches where they shaved his fur may take a while to regrow though! I’m hoping for a quiter week next week!
