I’m not going to any festivals this year, but if I was, this upcycled Adidas dress would be a very strong contender (along with my festival capsule wardrobe pieces). I bought this upcycled Adidas dress from Curious Coco when I was at the Good Clothes Show in Manchester. I’d long admired the reworked T-shirts, upcycled into dresses since seeing my friend Lou (Luinluland) wearing one. When I spotted this black and red number on the rail, I knew exactly how I’d wear it. I might switch the boots for trainers if I was going to be doing a lot of walking, but other than that, I wouldn’t change much. The faux leather leggings are perfect for layering underneath it.
To add to the festival vibe, I’ve added some fun jewellery: my “Sparkle Junkie” necklace, oversized “Queen” earrings and a chunky cuff bracelet. I feel a bit like a giant ladybird in this outfit!
I’m a day late with the link up because I was out all day yesterday and didn’t get back until the evening. I took Isobel and ger friend to the Trafford Centre (for my overseas readers, it’s a big shopping centre in Manchester). While we there I got my ears pierced again! I had my seconds done in my teens but they closed up many years ago. I had them done at Accessorize and opted for plain crystal studs. I’m planning on getting thirds done later in the year…I’m not having anything else pierced though!

Emma, I think I say this all the time! But, this may be a favorite look for me! I just love the tulle (?) skirt over the leggings! It’s so cool! I would love to get a third hole, but I’ve been told where I want to put it (at the top of my ear) can lead to bad results at my age. This is a fabulous up-cycled dress, and it suits you so well! I love the bold color combination and the mix of casual and girly styles together in the dress pieces. I have two piercings in each ear. The first one was done when I was just a child and lately one of those keeps wanting to close up and cause problems. I might try having it re-pierced. Thanks for sharing and the link up. I love upcycled dresses like this so much! I have made myself about 7 or 8 of them already. My son calls them Frankenstein dresses because you piece together parts of different clothing to make something new! The red dotted lace with the sporty Adidas logo top is such a fun contrast and just so darn cute! All the dots on this dress make me smile!
