I don’t think I’ve ever seen an orange frill blouse that I didn’t like! When I found this one on Vinted for a bargain price I couldn’t resist it. As a frequent wearer of this zesty hue I was looking for a different colour pairing, so I set about going through the wardrobe for inspiration. I’ve teamed orange and green together many times (see some of those outfits here, here and here). I’ve also paired orange with blue on a few occasions too (here and here). For a change, these lilac trousers were tempting me to try them and to my surprise I really liked the result.
I’ve dabbled with pairing orange and purple together before – with my Monki check suit and also for a previous Thrifty Six challenge – but I think I prefer the softer shade of lilac. I have a lavender coat which I’d wear with this outfit (I wish I had a jacket to match the trousers!). I didn’t want to add another colour into the mix so I chose snake print shoes. The trousers are quite long so they’re not too visible anyway. I’ve added some purple stone jewellery and sunglasses to complete the look.

Your blouse looks lovely and very intricate with all those delicate frills and small pleats. I’m sure my hubby would have nightmares about ironing that.
