Keeping your cool on a hot and humid day is sometimes a challenge when you work in an office with temperamental air conditioning. On the one hand you want to look smart and pulled together. But on the other, wearing anything too structured can be uncomfortable. And let’s face it, nothing’s guaranteed to ruin your look more than being hot and bothered. That’s when this black A Wear dress comes in very handy.
It’s really light and drapey, yet has enough detail with the studs on the shoulders and zip feature down the back to make it feel a bit dressier. I added a wide leopard print belt (which I picked up in Oxfam – bargain!) to give it a more structured look. It is a little see-through, so I have to bear that in mind when selecting underwear, if you know what I mean 😉 This Black A Wear dress is ideal for taking on holidays as it would take up hardly any room in the case. It doesn’t crease either, which is always a bonus!
I kept the rest of the outfit neutral with a leather bag from TKMaxx and these incredibly comfortable sandals from Clarks. The gold leaf cuff is from New Look. The ring (seen in previous posts) is by Royal Ring (from Secret Sales).
