Black and White Stripe Dress

Black and white stripe dress

It may officially be Spring but it sure doesn’t feel like it. If like me you’re getting a bit impatient now for the weather to warm up, we can at least console ourselves that one of the big trends for this season is black and white. It’s not the colour combination we immediately associate with the warmer months, but it is an incredibly versatile one.

I picked this F & F black and white striped dress up in Tesco while doing my shopping and it was an absolute bargain at £16! It’s also a great transitional item because the material is just the right thickness. On a day like this when there’s a bitter wind and flurries of snow thick tights are essential! But I’m sure I’ll get plenty of wear out of it when Summer arrives (assuming it does) and I can substitute boots for sandals. I chose my J by Jasper Conran red coat to wear with it for maximum impact.

I’ve gone a bit mad for black and white stripes just lately…I’ll be featuring my monochrome bargains here soon so watch this space! Thanks for reading and have a lovely weekend xxx
