I’m mixing sporty with workwear for today’s outfit. The jacket and top are what I’d describe as elevated athleisure. Both blend performance with style, featuring 4-way stretch and sun protection (not that there’s been much sunshine here lately!). They are my latest pieces from Acegolfs – makers of fashion-forward, high quality golf wear. (You may remember the green sweatshirt and navy tracksuit I’ve feautured previously.)
My love for burgundy is still going strong, it’s such a gorgeous, rich colour for autumn and winter. I chose the jacket* and top* to work together, mixing burgundy and dark florals. I particularly love the ruffle detail on the back of the jacket. It’s available in lots of other colours too. The trousers are from my burgundy suit that I wear frequently for work. The stretchy jersey material means they’re very comfortable and I don’t feel overdressed if I wear them with a more casual jacket.
My FitFlop sock trainers work so well with this outfit, both in terms of colour and style. I’ve finished the look with my gold crossbody bag, but I can envisage this outfit with a big quilted bag for shopping or going to the gym.
