See by Chloe Red Skirt

See by Chloe Red Skirt

An alternative to monochrome – red and black really packs a punch. As you may have guessed I love red, it’s my favourite colour, but I sometimes find it tricky to work into an outfit with other colours. I find the key is to keep it fairly minimal, unless you’re trying to make a statement. The See by Chloe red skirt is an Outnet bargain. It’s great for winter because it’s quite thick but has a bit of stretch, making it comfortable.

I’ve kept the silhouette simple with a basic black top from F+F (about a fiver from Tesco!) and black tights and boots from Office. The necklace is by Mikey. It complements the skirt and adds enough detail to prevent the top half looking too “blocky” with the fairly high cut neckline. I also have the black version of this See by Chloe red skirt, which I wear a lot for work. Oddly this skirt fits more snuggly than the black one – even though they’re the same size and fabric. (I find that quite frequently when I buy the same style in different colours.) Consequently, I don’t wear this skirt when I’m feeling a bit bloated. It does hold me accountable though!

Thanks for reading, hope you have a great day!
