You know I’m addicted to trouser suits, so when I discovered there were matching trousers for this jacket I hunted them down! It wasn’t an easy quest to find them in my size as they were sold out at most retailers. They came back in stock at Debenhams so I ordered the 10 but they were too loose (I’d read reviews that said they come up big). Luckily the 8 was still in stock – and they are still quite roomy. As they’re stretchy they are super comfortable. I just wish they were an inch or two longer.
While I love a colour contrast, I went for a tonal look for a change. The retro dagger collar shirt works so well with this burgundy trouser suit…I love the deep cuffs that sit below the jacket sleeves. It’s such a comfortable outfit too, thanks to the stretchy Ponte fabric of the suit.
I have my fair share of statement earrings, but for work I tend to wear smaller ones – both for comfort and practicality. Big earrings tend to clang against the phone which annoys me. I was delighted when TJC asked me if I’d like to collaborate with them and sent me these classic diamond knot stud earrings. They are made from sterling silver, plated with 18K vermeil yellow gold and embedded with forty-eight diamond baguettes. They are, however, surprisingly affordable at Β£59.99 (there’s the option of paying in four interest-free instalments too).
There’s a huge range of jewellery on the website, catering for all tastes and budgets. I’ve worn these earrings several times already and they are so comfortable I forget I’m wearing them. The butterfly back fits really securely, so I can be confident they won’t come out if I catch them when taking my top off.

These trousers and the suit outfit is such a classic style. I love the colour you chose and the hat goes perfectly.

Your suit is beautiful, but that shirt is amazing! I don’t have any with that dagger type collar. It reminds me so much of the 70s! I like to wear studs, but my hair is so long it covers them up. So, I end up wearing statement earrings more often. Thanks so much for the link up!

Loving the jewelry, such pretty earrings. I just got some new Monica Vinader I look forward to wearing. The frog is adorable! Our back yard is woods and you should hear how loud the frogs get! Love the suit and that you found the pants. I just bought a pair of green linen pants to match my green linen blazer on Ebay. Fortunately they match. I tend to have the issue with pants, need longer inseams!

What a fab suit on you Emma. Love the colour and style of both the jacket and trousers. I’ve had a few similar purchases recently. Suit items are not what I would usually wear, but I’m in love with this look, always room for new styles to explore.

Fabulous suit Emma, the color is so versatile and it looks great on you! And of course I am in love with the printed 70s dagger collar shirt. So glad you found the matching trousers to the jacket. If anyone can do it, you can, you are such and Internet shopping maven! Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for the link up!
Dear Emma, ββit was so worth it for you to buy the matching trousers. What luck. You look stunning in this suit.
How I love this outfit!!! The paisley print has literally the identical shade as the color of the suit, I have never seen such a perfect match in my life! <3
And I love the green nail polish against it. π
