This chunky cardigan is just the job for a mild winter’s day when you don’t need a big coat. I layered it over a fine knit sweater to keep me warm for an afternoon out with the family. This cardigan has been stuffed in the back of the wardrobe for years. I can’t believe I haven’t worn it before…it’s so warm and cosy!
I’m always slightly wary of chunky cardigans and jumpers as they can inches, which is fine if you’re built like a bean pole, but not so good if you are curvaceous. A belt will add definition to the waist though, and a V-shaped neckline prevents a block-like effect. Keeping the bottom half streamlined also helps offset the added bulk of chunky knitwear.
I’m wearing grey jeggings and my favourite black wedge boots from Nine West. The leopard print satchel from Asos adds a fun element to an otherwise plain and neutral look.
your photos are amazing — i would love to know all of your secrets! good luck
