It’s been the kind of weather lately that’s had me adding/removing layers every ten minutes. Usually I wouldn’t be looking to buy knitwear in late May, but here we are! I spotted this fun Damson Madder jumper on eBay recently and was the only bidder at just over £5! The mix of colourful leopard print and stripes is very much my thing. It’s not often that I find a bargain on eBay these days, Vinted seems to be the main resale platform for clothes. I still check it regularly though, just in case sommething pops up!
I decided to build an outfit around the colours of the jumper, starting with the lilac trousers. I don’t have a soft yellow bag (I find that hard to believe, but it’s true!) so I chose my LaBante vegan leather red bag, which matches the stripes. The trainers act as an extension of the trousers, creating a leg lengthening effect. I added a little more yellow with the star earrings. I love lilac and yellow together but I don’t think I’ve ever combined them with red before. It just so happens that my nails match the outfit too!
The weather is going to hot up next week so I won’t be needing knitwear. I will have to paint my toenails though! I’m looking forward to wearing my summer clothes again!
