Blue and Green Trouser Suit + Style With a Smile Link Up

Another busy week has flown by! I’m happy to report that Teddy seems to have made a full recovery and is back to his old self. Pets can be such a worry! We’ve got a hectic weekend coming up, visiting York University on Saturday and then Isobel has a gig in the evening at the town’s annual music event.

Having outfit formulas saves time when getting ready

It’s been quite hot and muggy the last few days, but cloudy. I wore this blue and green trouser suit to work and was rather warm! I even took a raincoat as it was forecast to rain in the morning and I was using the park and ride, but I didn’t need it as it turned out. In fact, I just ended up carrying it around. I’ve had this suit a few years now, along with a few others from Monki. The first time I wore the suit was when I was visiting mum before she moved to Cheshire. It’s nice to have photos of my childhood home. I miss it, and mum. I was also wearing the same top and bag; having outfit formulas saves time when getting ready.

The weather is set to really warm up next week, so I’ll be back in my summer clothes. I’m in the middle of a big wardrobe reorganisation, packing away coats and jumpers…I just hope I don’t jinx it! The trouser suits are permanent fixtures though because I can adapt most of them to suit the weather. However, I think it might be a bit too hot for them next week! Not that I’m complaining…we’ve had enough rain!
