I hope you all has a fantastic Christmas! Mine was spent at home with family. My mum was able to come this year after spending last Christmas and New Year in hospital, which was lovely. We are planning a little party with friends for New Year’s Eve, so I will be busy making preparations for that when I return from taking mum home. We are planning for her to move in with us in January while we try to sell her house.
I was late getting into the Christmas mood this year, and then before I knew it, it was a matter of days away! Somehow I let it creep up on me. My plans on making festive content throughout December didn’t materialise. However, I finally got into the Christmas spirit by putting together this festive red and green outfit for a bit of fun. (I posted it on Instagram stories and TikTok). Christmas is the only time I wear this gold turban as it’s a bit extra! Ditto the sunglasses. Both prompt hilarity and teasing from Pete, but I’m used to that by now! He made plenty of panto jokes and said I remind him of Naboo in The Mighty Boosh. Nothing wrong with that!
This is my last post of 2023. Thank you so much for your support over the last year, I truly appreciate it. I will be back to posting the weekly link up on Tuesdays in the new year. (Does anybody know what day of the week it is during twixmas?) Wishing you all a healthy, happy and prosperous 2024!
