I do love a fruity print, especially in the summer. I think there’s something really joyful about wearing clothes with my favourite foods on! This Izabel fruit print dress is a new addition to my summer wardrobe. It features fish and parrots too, giving it a fabulous tropical feel. As with my other Izabel dresses, this one has pockets – a very welcome detail. The sizing is spot on too (I’m in my usual size 10).
The back has an elasticated section, ensuring it’s comfortable, and the straps are adjustable. Plus, I like that the neckline sits at just the right point to show off a necklace. (I don’t like to show too much cleavage.) My fruit charm necklace is the perfect match for this dress. I’ve also added yellow earrings and a green bangle to bring out the most striking colours in the dress. My new preloved bag (that I featured in Monday’s post) is proving to be a good buy already!
With a decent spell of warm and sunny weather, I’m enjoying wearing summer clothes…although I really do need to slap some fake tan on! I’m counting down the days to our holiday and can’t wait to wear this dress when I’m in Cape Verde!
