Pretty dresses in lightweight fabrics are my favourite pieces to take on holiday (along with a couple of co-ords). This gorgeous Jenerique angel sleeve dress arrived just in time. It took up hardly any space in my case and didn’t crease too badly. I probably should have ironed it, but who wants to do that in hot weather? Not me!
This midi dress and a loose-fitting khaki jumpsuit (pictured further down) are my first items from Jenerique and they both exceeded my expectations. I was unsure about the sizing so referred to the measurements online and ordered a 12 to be on the safe side. I knew I wouldn’t have time to return them for a different size before going away. In hindsight, I could have ordered my usual size 10, especially in the jumpsuit because it’s oversized and stretchy. That said, both the dress and jumpsuit feel lovely to wear and it’s always better to have a bit of breathing room. The twist front detail on the front of the dress is very flattering and the angel sleeves are great if you don’t like showing off your upper arms.
The dress is also available in three solid colours (green, black and beige) but this delightful mix of pastel hues won me over at first sight. My Yaa Yaa London statement ring picks out the pink in the print and I kept everything else simple, with my gold crossbody bag and nude pink wedge sandals.

I think I wore this jumpsuit three of four times during our 12-day holiday. It was just so easy to throw on over a bikini for a day at the lido/beach. I love the asymmetrical hems…and that it has pockets! It was definitely the most comfortable of all my holiday outfits and I’ll definitely be taking it on all future trips.

Thanks Cheryl! You’re welcome!
What a lovely dress that is, beautiful colours together. Love the jumpsuit too. Perfect items for a holiday. When I look back at photos from holidays I can see that I’m wearing the same items over and over again. And because we always go to the same b&b and pub, they must be thinking I’ve got not such a extended wardrobe, lol
These are lovely. That dress just suits you so well. They have some gorgeous pieces with fabulous patterns. Thanks for hosting Emma. Jacqui xx
