Well, the “Beast from the East” has passed and it’s business as usual with grey and damp weather. It had just started to rain as we did these photos, so they were done in a rush. Typically, the sun came out afterwards! But after the recent cold snap I feel like I can now look forward (albeit tentatively) towards Spring. And nothing screams Spring more than bright colours, especially green!
This outfit was inspired by not one, but three bloggers. When I saw Lee of LegalLee Blonde wearing a pair of green trousers with a matching neck scarf pinned into a bow, I immediately started searching for some. As usual, Asos came up trumps with an affordable pair. They are quite stretchy and have a tendency to ride up my calf, but I can live with that. My second hit of inspiration came from Samantha of Fake Fabulous and Greet Moens aka @journeyofastylist, who are both wonderfully adept at mixing bright colours. It was chanelling these three stylish ladies that led me to pair this pink Joules corgi jumper and bright green trousers together. Don’t you just love a bit of blogger inspo? 😉
I’m a little bit obsessed with animal motif jumpers lately…remember the badger from a couple of weeks ago? This is my second Joules jumper from eBay – my first was the fabulous Mr Fox jumper which I wear lots. I decided to stick to two colours with this outfit by choosing boots and a bag in the same shade of pink. The dog helps to break it up a little, and I’ve got a tiny amount of blue and orange in the earrings. I love these earrings so much I bought them in four colours. I also have this bag in a light pink and lime green! There’s a theme emerging here…when I really like something I buy it in multiple colours!

Awwww you featured me!! Thank you so much, Emma! MWAH <3
I must say the things I love the most about this outfit are those shoes. OMG that colour of pink is absolutely divine! You look gorgeous, as always. You and many other bloggers look fabulous in that trousers shape (is it called peg-leg?) but it's so not my shape at all! I wish it was though 🙁
Love the Joules jumper – as a doggy fan, it really is cute!
Hope you're having a fab day.
Hugs

You’re welcome Suzy! How could I NOT feature you in that gorgeous coat! I have a few pairs of peg leg trousers from Asos, these are a slightly slimmer fit though. Popping over for a peek at your new blog design 🙂
Emma, I absolutely adore this outfit! It makes me smile! Your animal print jumpers are so much fun and this one is no different. And all the colors are totally in the Fake Fabulous vibe of Samantha. Those booties are spectacular, too. Great look, my friend.
