Bonjour from Brittany! We had a very early start on Sunday morning, getting up at 3.15am, flying from Manchester airport to Rennes. My dad picked us up and we were back at his place for lunchtime. I was so tired I fell asleep watching the Grand Prix (but I often do at home!). I had what the French call a “grasse matinée” (a lie in) the following day. In the afternoon we went for a hike along the cliff path which is very up and down, quite steep in places. I’m feeling it a bit in my hips today.
It’s coming to the end of the month, which means it time for our latest Style Not Age challenge. (I was due to post this yesterday but internet is patchy here.) It was Jacqui’s turn to set the theme and as she’s had a summer packed with weddings, she took her prompt from that. We are wearing our wedding outfits, although unlike Jacqui, I haven’t actually been to one.
In fact, I haven’t been to a wedding for some years now, but if I had one to attend over the summer, this puff sleeve dress* from Izabel would be a strong contender. It’s very similar to the floral print dress I wore in Madeira (and have worn several times since). The light and airy fabric makes it ideal for the hot weather, and I’m obsessed with puff sleeves! The colour palette of blues and white is muted but very pretty. I’ve added a neutral fabric bag with blue butterflies, grey sandals and pearl jewellery and a blue statement ring to complement the tones in the dress.

Jacqui is looking fabulous in her Girl In Mind dress that she bought on Vinted. Here she is celebrating her daughter’s wedding shower. Catch up with Jacqui over at Mummabstylish.

Hilda is wearing a beautiful Rixo dress from a wedding a while ago. See more of this outfit at Over the Hilda.

Anna wore this fabulous Zara co-ord to an event recently, which would also be lovely for a wedding. Head over to Anna’s Island Style to read more.

Emma, this dress is so beautiful! I love the color and the print. The big puff sleeves are so much fun, too. I can’t wear them but they look fabulous on you!
