Winter Bloom – Floral Print Midi Skirt

December 13, 2012

Winter bloom, floral print midi skirt

It’s been a while since I last posted; starting a new job and my camera breaking can be blamed for that! Anyway it’s good to be blogging again. Even though it’s freezing cold I still managed to work a floral print midi skirt into my winter wardrobe. This one is from Marks and Spencer, bought in a sale a month or so ago.

I liked the idea of keeping the whole outfit tonal, which meant I could wear berry-coloured tights and boots – bare legs are definitely not an option right now! Apart from the skirt and the Swarovski ring the outfit is made up of items I’ve had for some years.

The bag is one of several I bought on holiday in Sorrento. A bit of that Italian sunshine wouldn’t go amiss now as I think about scraping ice off the car. Oh well, a girl can dream…..

Jumper: Dorothy Perkins, Skirt: M&S, Boots: New Look, Bracelets: DIY.

After writing about the pop art trend in a previous post I’ve been wanting to get my nails done in a design similar to the Models Own Wah Nail wraps. I’ve got to give it to the lovely lady who does my nails – whatever I ask her for she can do it. I  love them, what do you think?

Thanks for reading, stay warm x

This is where I link up!
