Leopard Print, Spikes and Studs

Whoever said “less is more” clearly didn’t know what they were talking about! A statement dress, leopard print coat and some serious hardware on the accessories front is perhaps a combination you wouldn’t rock up to the office in, but for a party…well that’s a different matter.

I love this soft and furry coat and it was a real bargain find at Matalan a couple of years ago. If you’re looking for something similar but don’t want to break the bank before Christmas, Matalan currently have some gorgeous faux fur coats at around the £40 mark, including one very much like the one I’m wearing.

The dress and accessories are also items I’ve had for a while. The Asos dress is very David Koma-esque with the gold embellishments. The studded leather clutch (also from Asos) and gold jewellery add the finishing touches. The spike ring by Merle O’Grady is one of my favourite pieces of jewellery, but I don’t get to wear it very often as it does look like a lethal weapon!
