I’m always on the look out for classic pieces with an unusual feature, such as this Yigal Azrouel pencil skirt with the cutout sections on the sides. I bought it from the Outnet during one of their pop up sales, which are a perfect opportunity to pick up a designer bargain.
To keep the emphasis on the skirt I kept the rest of the outfit simple. The black top is from H&M and is fairly plain other than the sheer spotted material on the shoulders and sleeves. It means I can keep my arms covered without getting too hot. I love the design so much that I also bought it bright blue.
The leather bag is an old one by Jasper Conran for Debenhams and the shoes are from Marks & Spencer.
