Just when we’d all given up on summer it returns for one last huzzah, so I just had to make the most of it by showing you this yellow lace dress which I bought for THREE POUNDS! I saw it on the sale rail in M&S with no price on so I asked at the counter. Well, I got quite a shock when the sales assistant said it was only £3! I later found out it was £39.50 at full price so I think I got quite a good deal, don’t you?
Bright yellow can be a tricky colour to wear, particularly if you’re pale skinned like me. But a bit of fake tan can make the world of difference. When I had blonde highlights I couldn’t wear yellow at all, it made me look ill. Dyeing my hair red was a game changer, and now I love it. The dress is a bit baggy and shapeless, but I knew I could style it up with a few accessories, like this belt which I bought in Oxfam for a fiver. My bargain yellow lace dress and leopard print belt cost a grand total of £8!
I piled on a mixture of Asos bracelets and some I made myself. The pops of pink and turquoise in the bracelets contrast well with the bright yellow. I do love an arm party!
