After an unusually long spell of hot and sunny weather we’ve finally had a few cooler days. As much as I love the hot weather it’s a relief to feel the fresh, cool air on my skin. The temperature at the weekend was just right for trying on this cute dress from Krisp. I often find fit and flare dresses difficult to wear because of my long torso but I’m really pleased with how this one fits me.
The fabric is not thick but it’s quite stiff, which helps to retain that flared look…perfect for twirling! I styled this ditsy print fit and flare dress with silver accessories for more of a party look, but you could also style it casually with some sporty lace-up shoes and a denim jacket. I had to add just a teeny bit of colour with these pink slingbacks and matching pink lipstick.
This lace sleeve shrug is great for when you want to add a layer without bulk. It’s really stretchy – in fact when I took it out of the packaging I didn’t think I’d get my arms in it! I know a lot of ladies like to keep the upper arms covered, so this is the perfect solution because you can still see the skin through it. The cropped length means it accentuates the waist and keeps the upper half streamlined. The dress usually retails for Β£24.99 and the shrug for Β£14.99. The dress is also available in in navy and white, and the shrug in four other colours.

Emma, this dress is fantastic! Your remind of a 50βs Hollywood icon in it! I love ditsy prints (and even more so, I love the term βditsyβ in reference to prints)! The pink shoes and silver statement necklace are spot on, too. So gorgeous!
